This tour gives the chance to the clients to see the big four and see real Tanzanian life. It's a combination of 3 parks and you have high chance to see big cats and much wildlife. These three parks have different landscape, every park has a special thing to see and to do.
You'll be met and greeted with a driver guide for your safari briefing and then drive to Mikumi National Park. On arrival, you will start with an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Tanapa Cottage on full board basis.
Mikumi National Park is Tanzania's fourth largest park and covers an area of 3200sq km. The park is flanked between the Udzungwa and Uluguru Mountains. Mikumi National Park is home to buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, zebras and pythons.
Have an early morning game drive in Mikumi National Park anddrive back to the camp for a late breakfast. After breakfast, drive to Ruaha National Park with a stopover in Iringa for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Ruaha National Park and on arrival, start with a game drive en-route to Ruaha Cottage.
Dinner and your overnight stay are at Ruaha Cottage on full board basis.
After breakfast, you will go for a full day game drive in Ruaha National Park with packed lunch. Enjoy your lunch at one of picnic sites where your guide will choose.
Ruaha National Park covers an area of 20,000sq km and a vast and magnificent wilderness area and is also Tanzania’s largest park. It is home to the largest population of elephants and also hosts larger herds of buffaloes, pride of lions, leopards, giraffes, kudus, Grant’s gazelles, wild dogs, ostriches, Roan and Sable antelopes and more than 400 different bird species. The great Ruaha River flows through the eastern side of the park and is home of hippos, crocodiles and water birds.
Have an early morning game drive and then get back to the cottage for late breakfast. After breakfast, drive to Morogoro town and on arrival, you will check in at Arc Hotel for your overnight stay on full board basis.
The drive to Morogoro passes through farms and villages with very good landscapes and the Great Rift Valley.
After breakfast, drive to Selous Game Reserve with packed lunch which is approximately 6 hours drive. On arrival, you will start with a game drive en-route to the southern part of Selous Game Reserve.
Dinner and your overnight stay are at Selous Hippo Tented Camp on full board basis.
After breakfast, you will go on a game drive in Selous Game Reserve and back to the camp for a hot lunch. After lunch, relax on the banks of Rufiji River before your evening boat cruise on Rufiji River.
Selous Game Reserve covers 5% of Tanzania's total land area and is approximately 55,000sq km. Selous Game Reserve is Africa’s largest wildlife reserve and Tanzania’s most extensive protected area.
Selous provides shelter for the large numbers of elephants, big population of buffaloes, wild dogs, lions, crocodiles and hippo in the mighty Rufiji River. It also has a rich variety of birdlife and some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos.
The reserve is named after the one famous British Frederick Courtney Selous who was killed in the reserve during WWI.
Have an early morning walking safari and then get back to the camp for a late breakfast. After breakfast, drive to Dar es Salaam. On arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped at the Ferry Terminal for the last ferry to Zanzibar, your hotel or at the airport for your flight back home.
